Major Division (Typically 11-12 year olds)

The Major division is the most competitive baseball played on the regulation Little League field (pitching distance of 46 feet and 60 foot base paths).  At this level the coaches will expect players to have a good understanding of the rules of baseball and constantly be aware of what they are doing on the field and why they are doing it.  Majors play a competitive regular season schedule and will participate in a season-ending tournament, although there is a constant emphasis on camaraderie and sportsmanship as well.

Other than Majors players returning to the same team as last year, any player wishing to participate in the Majors Division must tryout, and teams are formed using a draft.  Players in this Division are eligbile for selection to an All-Star team that will represent Casa Grande Little League in a post-season tournament.
