These Divisions continue to emphasize the fundamentals of hitting and fielding, but also place significant emphasis on the understanding of positions, base-running, and the basic rules of baseball. In the Coach Pitch Division, batters are pitched to by an adult. These divisions continue to use a special reduced-impact baseball for safety. No score is kept and no tryouts are required for these divisions. Most coach-pitch players will be 6 or 7 years old (although 5 year olds may be permiteed to play with one year of prior T-Ball experience.) Older players may be permitted to play coach-pitch if requested by a parent as a result of little or no prior playing experience, but the decision whether to allow a player to play in this division will rest with the player agent.
